WWE Possibly Adding Former Impact Wrestling Star and Top NXT Star to 205 Live Roster

As we noted yesterday, Impact Wrestling has released former TNA British Bootcamp winner Rockstar Spud. Spud joined the likes of Jeff Jarrett, Eddie Kingston and Taryn Terrell as recently released talents.

According to PWInsider.com, WWE has expressed interest in signing Spud to add him to the current 205 Live roster. WWE reportedly wants to add more international talents to the 205 Live roster, and is subsequently considering another roster addition in top NXT star Hideo Itami.

The idea has reportedly been pitched several times now for Hideo Itami to join the WWE Cruiserweight Division, which would include a call-up to the Raw brand, and it appears that while no official decision has been made, the plan is to move Itami to the Cruiserweight division once creative has a plan in place for him.
