The WWE has put up a new job listing looking for what is being called a “Coordinating Road Producer” that would travel around and be in charge of out of the ring production like interviews and video vignettes. The description reads:
As a key member WWE’s Digital & Social Video team, the Coordinating Road Producer will oversee
As it reads, this is different from the Road Agent/Producer role that largely handles the in-ring action for the live shows around the country. With a lot of video being shot outside the ring for not only Raw and Smackdown, but you have a lot of that style of content on WWE Network shows, I’m surprised this role didn’t already exist. The job listing says it requires 8 years of Digital/TV Field Production so this obviously is not a beginners position (like there is any of those in the WWE anyway)
