– As noted, WWE Hall Of Famer “Mean” Gene Okerlund recently passed away at age 76. The legendary voice and host of AWA, WWE and WCW for several decades was honored by WWE at the most recent set of NXT television tapings at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. At the January 3rd NXT TV taping, NXT paid tribute to the WWE legend with a 10-bell salute. WWE released the following video of the moment on their official YouTube channel this weekend.
