20-MAN BATTLE ROYAL #1 CONTENDERS MATCH
(Winner faces AJ Styles for the United States Championship on the main show)
It’s time to get down to the action in Saudi Arabia with the Kick-Off show as the 20-man battle royal is kicking things off, where the winner will earn a title shot against AJ Styles later on in the show.
The match officially begins in the classic chaotic way as expected for a battle royal with everyone looking for an early elimination, with Rowan and Harper working together early on. Drake Maverick, for some reason, attempts to lift Rowan, and that ends with him being lifted up and launched out of the ring by Rowan, who then sends Heath Slater over the top rope as well.
Tony Nese then attempts to get rid of the big man, but he gets sent over the top rope for his efforts. Luke Harper then does his part, and launches out The Brian Kendrick and then Eric Young.
Titus O’Neil gets in on the eliminating action by sending Mojo Rawley over the top rope as Andrade continues his feud with Sin Cara, dumping the masked man over the top rope. Titus then tries to throw Apollo Crews out, but he smartly reverses and throws Titus over the top rope himself.
Andrade attempts to eliminate R-Truth but he manages to hang on and remain in the match as the ring has started to thin out with plenty of wrestlers occupying the corners in classic battle royal style.
Harper and Rowan then decided to square off, but No Way Jose then gets in the middle and tries to make them dance, and Harper begins to do that, only to turn it into a discus clothesline as Rowan then dumps him out of the ring.
The former Wyatt Family members then attempt to square off again and this time Akira Tozawa decides to get in between them, and the duo gets rid of him as well, with Harper superkicking him out. Shelton Benjamin then ends up getting eliminated as he rushes towards Humberto Carrillo who smartly pulls down the ropes while Harper launches out Apollo at the other side of the ring.
Buddy Murphy and Rowan then get into things but Buddy is pushed off the top rope, and R-Truth is eliminated by Andrade as he then gets sent out by Rowan, with Cedric Alexander eliminating Sunil Singh.
We have our final four!

The two big men lay down their smaller opponents, physically dominating them, but Alexander tries to fight back only to run into a big boot by Rowan who then eliminates him as well.
On the outside, the Singh Brothers are celebrating on the outside and R-Truth decides to take advantage with a roll-up, regaining the 24/7 Championship! All the eliminated wrestlers then come out and chase Truth out of the area as we get back to the match itself.
Once again Harper and Rowan square up and Carrillo hits a dropkick, sending them into each other, but the big men quickly turn that around as Harper gets launched into him and Rowan follows it up with a huge crossbody.
Rowan sends Harper to get rid of Carrillo and as he attempts that, Rowan turns on him and eliminates Harper, but Carrillo smartly does the same thing and lifts Rowan over the top rope, dropkicking him out to become the new number one contender!
Winner: Humberto Carrillo
