NXT Superstar Matt Riddle was a guest on the WWE SummerSlam Watch Along panel this Sunday night, and as he promised the “Original Bro” wasted no time in calling out his favorite Hall of Famer, “William Goldberg”.
After sarcastically claiming he was most excited for the “barnburner” of a match that Goldberg would undoubtedly have with Dolph Ziggler, Riddle revealed that he actually met the WCW icon backstage prior to SummerSlam, and their interaction wasn’t exactly smooth… It was however, caught by WWE cameras, so we may see something about this at a later date.
