— In an update to a recent headline about Larry Shreve aka Abdullah the Butcher asking fans for money/donations due to being sued by a promoter named Devon, it turns out that it is actually due to being sued by a Canadian wrestler named Devon Nicholson, who filed suit claiming Shreve gave him Hepatitis-C.
— The incident actually took place in 2007 during a match between the two but was discovered by Nicholson in 2009 after receiving a three-year offer from WWE. The offer was rescinded after tests diagnosed him with Hepatitis-C. After researching and retracing his steps, he pinpointed it to the 2007 match with Shreve and thus launched a $6.5 million lawsuit. In the summer of 2014, an Ontario court sided with Nicholson and awarded him $2.3 million in damages.
