Strowman vs. Corbin announced for WWE TLC, stipulations set

Another match is official for next month’s TLC pay-per-view.

During the opening segment of the post-Survivor Series edition of Raw, it was announced that Braun Strowman will face Baron Corbin in a tables, ladders, and chairs match at WWE TLC.

If Strowman wins, he’ll challenge for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble. If Corbin wins, the storyline is that Corbin will become the permanent general manager of Raw. Corbin will lose all of his power if he doesn’t defeat Strowman at TLC.

Corbin hit Strowman with the Universal title belt at Crown Jewel, which led to Lesnar defeating Strowman to win the then-vacant title. It was announced going into Survivor Series that Strowman would get his match against Corbin if Raw defeated SmackDown and Strowman avoided putting his hands on Corbin until after the PPV. Corbin attacked Strowman after Raw’s men’s division team won their match.

The SAP Center in San Jose, California is hosting TLC on December 16. Seth Rollins defending his Intercontinental Championship against Dean Ambrose has also been announced for the event.
