As noted, former NXT World Champion Shinsuke Nakamura made his WWE main roster debut at Tuesday night’s post-WrestleMania 33 episode of SmackDown Live at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, the site of this past Saturday night’s NXT TakeOver: Orlando special, where he came up short in his attempt to recapture the NXT Title from reigning champion Bobby Roode in the evening’s main event.
For those who missed it, Nakamura made his way down to the ring accompanied by a lone violinist playing along with his theme music — the same song he became known for in NXT — while the sold out crowd inside the Amway Center sang along in unison, during a promo segment involving The Miz and Maryse.
After the show went off the air this evening, Nakamura took to social media to comment on finally making his WWE main roster debut. “Hello SmackDown Live,” wrote Nakamura via his official Twitter page. “Feel #TheVibe #YeahOh.”
