Oligarchs under Western sanctions will “party like a Russian” at Vladimir Putin’s annual business gathering starting Thursday, where they can enjoy a Robbie Williams concert and the company of top European and US officials despite the Western sanctions against them.
This week, a foreign affairs committee report increased pressure on the British government to stop the influx of corrupt Russian money, and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s visa has reportedly been held up until he explains how he made his billions.
