According to L’Équipe, Premier League sides Norwich City and Newcastle United have made contact with Steve Mandanda’s agent about a possible January move.
Aston Villa have also been in contact with the player, having been thought to have even made an offer for the French international but the Marseille man is said to be unimpressed by Remi Garde’s side’s results situation at present.
Mandanda’s big dream would be a move to Liverpool. His agent has offered him to the Merseyside outfit, but Jurgen Klopp has two other individuals in that position that he wishes to target first: Timo Horn (22) and Marc-André Ter Stegen (23).
Mandanda is leaving the door open for a move next month, but the lower-ranked Premier League sides will have to pull out all the stops if they are to convince him to join them.
Marseille would require of a fee of around just €4m to €5m, with Mandanda’s contract out at the end of the season.
