Nakamura Reveals Ziggler’s Post-WWE Plans? Current MITB Favorite

Smackdown’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view will be airing live on the WWE Network this weekend. The show will feature the first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, as well as the traditional Money in the Bank ladder match featuring the male superstars. The concept is that six or so superstars all face each other, and have a goal of climbing up a ladder to retrieve a briefcase that guarantees them a WWE Championship match at a time of their choosing. The participants in the match include Dolph Ziggler, Shinsuke Nakamura, Baron Corbin, AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens. The reported favorite to win the match was broken earlier by Cageside Seats.
It may surprise some to know that Shinsuke Nakamura is currently the favorite to win the ladder match this week. Shinsuke Nakamura is still a newcomer to the WWE main roster, and he hasn’t been able to find the same success thus far that he achieved during his time in NXT. Someone like Baron Corbin, who many believed would win, is said to still be a favorite of management, but his momentum was sort of halted once Jinder Mahal became the champion. WWE Champion Jinder Mahal has been rumored to face John Cena soon, so whoever wins the match likely will not be cashing in their Money in the Bank contract right away.
Speaking of Nakamura, he appeared on Smackdown’s post-show Talking Smack after 205 Live last night, and he revealed something very interesting about Dolph ZIggler. When discussing the wrestler, Nakamura stated that Ziggler could be going to Japan soon. Co-host Renee Young responded by stating: “Oh! Breaking news!” During a video rant from famous YouTuber Trisha Paytas recently, she revealed that Ziggler is planning on leaving WWE soon. Nakamura may have helped confirm that on Talking Smack, but his English skills are still not the best, so it is possible that Shinsuke misspoke. Dolph Ziggler is rumored to be winding down his WWE career soon, and he could be ready to resume it elsewhere if he so desires.
