After a failed threat of legal action on Tuesday’s Impact Wrestling, Deonna Purrazzo will get her rematch against Knockouts Champion Su Yung on next week’s show.
Flanked by Kimber Lee, Purrazzo’s attorney stated his case to Impact general manager Scott D’Amore and threatened litigation due to Yung beating Purrazzo for the title in an open challenge at Saturday’s Bound For Glory. D’Amore said they could be in legal action for years or Purrazzo could exercise her rematch clause next week which she accepted.
Other action announced for next week:
In a match featuring current and former world champions, Impact World Champion Rich Swann will team with Eddie Edwards against Eric Young and Sami Callihan. Swann defeated Young in an impromptu rematch to open Tuesday’s show and had a backstage run-in with Callihan later on the show.
Ethan Page will face Doc Gallows, made after Impact Tag Team Champions The North and the Good Brothers had a backstage skirmish Tuesday.
Chris Bey will go one-on-one with Trey Miguel.
