All Elite Wrestling star Joey Janela has responded to an incident on Saturday night that reportedly saw former WWE Superstar Big Cass (real name William Morrissey) escorted out of a WrestlePro event in Rahway, New Jersey after being punched by veteran wrestler, WrestlePro owner and WWE producer Pat Buck.
Janela was in the locker room during the incident and according to multiple reports, Morrissey attempted to pick a fight with him stemming from a recent altercation the “Bad Boy” had with Enzo Amore at a Blink 182 concert. Yes, that was a real collection of words, representing a real story, that actually happened in 2019.
As noted, Janela will not be pressing charges over the incident. One source even noted to PWInsider.com that Morrissey actually slapped him across the face, although we have not been able to confirm that. The strange part of the situation is that the two actually shared a locker room on Friday night, and nothing happened.
“Not gonna elaborate at all on this whole deal besides that it was probably the [most]bizarre situation I’ve ever seen let along been a part of in a wrestling locker room in 15 years,” Janela said on Twitter. “Everything was cordial and friendly Friday and I hope the dude gets back on the right track…”
