Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens have been the best thing on Monday Night Raw since the Brand Extension Draft back in July. This has also created rumours, that WWE is set to split the duo up and finally have them face each other one-on-one.
The reported plans for the match were for it to all culminate at WrestleMania in April, but now it seems that Jericho’s commitments with his band Fozzy, mean that it could instead be taking place at WWE FastLane in March, because Y2J may not be with WWE in April.
There are also reports that state that WWE is hoping to have the rivalry settled by March so that Jericho can go up against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania in a match for both the United States and the Universal Championships.
Most fans were looking forward to the match between the current best friends, the build to it has been some of the best WWE TV in a long time, but if Jericho’s commitments are in the way then there’s not much WWE can do about it, but if it is another ploy to make Reigns a dual champion, then fans won’t be impressed that a potential main event feud has been scrapped in favour of it.
