Impact Wrestling Announces Lashley’s Slammiversary Corner Man

Impact Wrestling champ Bobby Lashley didn’t get the corner man he requested, but he still got quite a partner for Slammiversary XV on July 2 at Impact Zone in Orlando.
Impact announced that Bellator MMA star Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal will be in Lashley’s corner in the fight for the unified World Championship with Alberto El Patron. Lashley had made an appeal to President Donald Trump last week to back him during the event.

King Mo is currently signed with Bellator and Rizin FF, and is a former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion and Rizin Heavyweight Grand Prix Champion. He has also competed for World Victory Road and M-1 Global, and briefly worked for TNA in the past.
