— The latest issue of WWE Magazine features an interview with Shawn Michaels and during the piece he is asked when he plans on retiring from the ring. He says he’s already made the decision to retire, but that he’d rather not disclose when it will be at this time.
“I’ve made that decision, but I’d rather keep it private,” Michaels told WWE Magazine. “I think about my retirement all the time.”
— PWInsider.com confirms that a Battle Royal featuring the male wrestlers not booked to compete tonight at WrestleMania will take place prior to the pay-per-view beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The following wrestlers — twenty-seven in all — were not previously booked to compete tonight: Carlito, Chavo Guerrero, Chris Masters, Mark Henry, Primo, Santino Marella, Vladimir Kozlov, William Regal, Yoshi Tatsu, Zack Ryder, Caylen Croft, Curt Hawkins, David Hart Smith, Ezekiel Jackson, Finlay, Goldust, Jimmy Wang Yang, JTG, Kung Fu Naki, Mike Knox, Shad, Slam Master J, The Great Khali, Trent Barreta, Tyson Kidd, Tyler Reks and Vance Archer.
On another note, the Battle Royal should assure the Divas not being bumped off the pay-per-view.
