Lyon President Jean Michel Aulas confirmed last night on RTL that he had spoken to Hatem Ben Arfa and has made a formal offer to him to join Les Gones at the end of the season on a free transfer.

“This is a scoop I have had discussions with Hatem Ben Arfa. He has not made up his mind (on his future),” Aulas told the French radio station.
