Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Says He Is Not Meeting With WWE

Well, apparently there was something lost in translation.

After telling Ariel Helwani that he wanted to do both UFC and WWE, and that he even had a meeting scheduled with the pro wrestling promotion, Fabricio Werdum took to social media to clarify the situation.

According to the former UFC Heavyweight Champion, he meant to say he was interested in doing both UFC fights and Lucha Libre style pro wrestling.

“Hey guys to make it clear I spoke about maybe doing Lucha libre in México,” wrote Werdum via his official Twitter page. “Not WWE. I meant WWE style (pro wrestling) but I am a @ufc fighter and my focus 100% is fighting in the ufc and whatever decision I make after my fighting career @danawhite @Mickmaynard2 will be involved.”
