CM Punk Involved in Expletive-Filled Fan Altercation While Calling MMA Event

CM Punk was involved in a brief incident with a fan while providing color commentary for Friday night’s Cage Fury Fighting Championships 77 event at the Hard Rock Arena in New Jersey, which was broadcast on UFC Fight Pass.

The incident took place following a fight between Christopher Daukaus and Danny Holmes third from the top, which ended with Daukaus scoring a first round TKO following a head kick.

There are several conflicting reports as to what happened, but it appears that disgruntled Holmes fans were being very rowdy after the decision, and someone got too close to CM Punk, as he clearly told the individual, “You need to back the f*ck up!”

Punk then went off-commentary for several seconds to deal with the situation. You can see in the video below that security was all over the area, and were talking to several individuals in the front row behind where Punk and his broadcast colleague were seated. Apparently one of them had been yelling obscenities throughout the show.
