Chyna’s Mom on HOF Induction, Rollins on Kofi, Ibushi’s Future

WWE confirmed last night that the D-Generation X faction will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this April. Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, X-Pac, and Chyna will be honored later this year. The induction will place Chyna into the Hall of Fame at last, which is a move that fans have been pushing for over the past few years. When asked about the induction by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Chyna’s mother, Jan LaQue said that she and her husband are “absolutely thrilled” and will accept WWE’s invitation to attend the ceremony. LaQue also apparently credits her daughter’s induction to her fans and her manager who has continued to handle her social media accounts ever since she passed away back in 2016.
“We have been invited to the ceremony and will be so proud to be there
and celebrate this awesome occasion. She certainly earned this, to say
the least.”
said LaQue.
Daniel Bryan retained the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber match this past weekend, but fans are still talking about Kofi Kingston’s performance in the match. There were moments when it almost seemed like Kingston would get the upset win, and fans are now calling for the longtime WWE Superstar to receive his moment at last. Although Kofi is now rumored to be fighting for the top title at the Fastlane pay-per-view in March, plenty of fans and wrestlers want to see Kingston challenge Bryan for the title at WrestleMania 35 instead. Joining the likes of Xavier Woods and Big E is Seth Rollins who has begun to push for Kofi Kingston to be part of the WWE Championship match in some way during WWE’s huge event in April.

Now that Kenny Omega is officially part of the All Elite Wrestling roster, some have wondered if his former tag team partner, Kota Ibushi, is also on his way into the promotion. Ibushi has spent years competing for promotions without signing an exclusive contract, which has sparked some hope that he may come into AEW soon. However, Ibushi himself seems to have reversed his stance on exclusive deals. During an interview with ShuPro, Ibushi made the comment that he is now interested in only working for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Ibushi says that he has huge goals for himself in NJPW and wants to be feature on more shows by the promotion. Ibushi revealed that he would be staying in NJPW for a bit longer during their New Beginning show earlier this year as well.

Ibushi interviewed in tomorrow’s ShuPro. ‘I want to wrestle exclusively for New Japan’ ‘if I can, I want to be on every card, every tour’ https://t.co/sda7hmkqe1
