Mia Yim has been pulled from tonight’s historic first-ever women’s WarGames match. WWE shot a segment prior to tonight’s NXT Takeover special that saw Yim attacked backstage by an unknown assailant, to the degree that she had to be taken to the hospital.
Team captain Rhea Ripley was forced to make a last-minute decision, adding Dakota Kai to tonight’s battle in her place. The two will join with Tegan Nox and Candice LeRae to take on NXT Champion Shayna Baszler, NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray, Bianca Belair and Io Shirai in a 4-on-4 WarGames match.
