Big Update on Roman Reigns WWE Return Timetable
As noted, WWE Raw star Roman Reigns was pulled from WWE TLC over the weekend as he was diagnosed last week with the mumps. Kurt Angle filled in for Reigns at the PPV last night, and was victorious, along with the rest of The Shield, in the main event.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is now reporting that Reigns should not be out of action for too long, and is expected to be cleared to return to the ring before Survivor Series. For story line purposes, it’s possible Reigns might be kept off WWE TV until after Survivor Series, as major creative changes are being made in Reigns’ absence, but he should be recovering from his illness prior to the PPV next month.
The status of The Shield is currently unknown, however as of this writing the group is still being advertised for WWE holiday live events taking place after Christmas.
