France Football confirm reporting from RMC Sport last night that Layvin Kurzawa has agreed in principle to sign a new 4-year contract with PSG, with his current deal due to expire at the end of August when the 2019/20 Champions’ League action has been completed.

The new contract will see the French international double his current salary to €3m a year net. His agent, Kia Joorabchian, initially wanted the new deal to be a 3-year contract but with the option to extend by a further fourth year.

PSG have stayed firm on a fixed 4-year term, which the player and his representatives have ultimately accepted.

Manu Lonjon and TF1 report that 18-year-old French youth international winger Isaac Lihadji will complete a move to Lille from Marseille this week.

He is expected to undergo a medical with LOSC in the coming days ahead of putting pen to paper to his first professional contract, which will run for 3 years.

Gianluca di Marzio reports that Ligue 1 side Lille spent Saturday afternoon scouting 23-year-old Brazilian-Serbian central defender Lyanco during Torino’s 4-1 defeat to Juventus.

The Italian journalist insists that the youngster is on Les Dogues’ shortlist to replace the departing Brazilian defender Gabriel, having played just 12 matches for his current side so far this season.

Despite earning a contract extension with Torino a year ago, it looks very possible that the defensive rock will depart.

Speaking in an interview with BeIN Sports, Brazilian attacker Neymar reflected on his club’s 7-0 victory over Belgian side Waasland-Beveren.

“I was very happy to come back and play at home, with some fans as well. We are preparing little by little to get to the maximum then we will be in the finals (Champions’ League). The rest is not very important.”

On the aggressive nature of the opposition:

Speaking to RMC Sport following Wednesday night’s 2-1 Champions’ League quarter-final success, Brazilian attacker Neymar tried to sum up his emotions, with a nod to opponents Atalanta.

“Yes, this was a huge night even though it was very difficult. Atalanta are a great team who have played very well throughout the season, they were the surprise of the competition. We knew that there were very aggressive and that they pressed all across the pitch, that they would have chances. They really played very well, they have a very good team but we are very happy with what we have done. We also did a great match against them. Now, we will have to recover because this match took a lot out of us mentally and we are very happy to qualify.”

No. Not at all. I never thought about being eliminated or returning home. At every moment, from the warmups, we thought about qualifying for the semi-finals and nobody is going to take it out of my head that I am going to go right to the final. On the difficulties PSG faced:
