Speaking at a press conference today ahead of their Ligue 1 clash with Reims, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel was asked about ongoing discussions with Chelsea to sign Tiémoué Bakayoko and Antonio Rüdiger.
“For the transfer window, you know very well that I do not want to talk about names now, I have never done that out of respect for the other clubs. They are not my players, they are players at other clubs, it makes no sense for me to talk about these two names, it is the same for everyone.”
“I can only say that the club knows my opinion and my analysis of the previous season, done by my staff and I. They know my analysis of the situation now and I am waiting now. We are waiting together. The situation is not easy with COVID-19 and the players that have left. We still have time and there you have it, we are waiting.”
