As noted, Shane McMahon announced a blockbuster WWE Title match will take place on WWE Smackdown Live next week, featuring AJ Styles vs Jinder Mahal. It appears as if the bout will indeed be televised, and WWE has released the following video of Styles addressing Mahal ahead of the bout.
“Looks like we both got what we wanted,” said Styles. “You wanted a piece of me, and I want your Championship. The only reason why you won the Championship in the first place is because of those two dingleberries hanging from your ass.”
AJ Styles then goes on to say that after he takes Mahal’s WWE Title on Smackdown, he will do something Jinder Mahal could never do – beat Brock Lesnar at WWE Survivor Series:
