More Details On This Week’s Low WWE Raw Rating, How Are Early Reviews For The Rock’s ‘Skyscraper’?

As Mike Killam noted moments ago, this week’s episode of WWE Raw averaged the lowest amount of viewers in the history of Monday Night Raw, taking in 2.47 million viewers, down a little over 11% from last week’s show

According to PWTorch.com, the show drew a 1.73 rating, down from last week’s 1.80 cable TV rating. The report also notes that while this week’s WWE Raw rating is down from this time last year, as well as down from this time two years ago, the show remains one of the highest rated programs on cable TV, especially in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

How Are Early Reviews For The Rock’s ‘Skyscraper’?

In three days, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s new action movie “Skyscraper” will officially hit theaters, and some of the early film reviews have begun to roll in.

According to Rottentomatoes.com, the film is currently at a 60% rating, with the critical consensus as follows:

Well-cast yet derivative, Skyscraper isn’t exactly a towering action thriller feat, but it’s solidly constructed enough to stand among the genre’s more mildly diverting features.

Below are two top critic movie review excerpts:

“I almost admire the laziness of the scripting. In this overworked, underpaid country of ours, why begrudge a screenwriter seizing the chance to knock off early?” – The Village Voice

“A cheerfully derivative and hugely enjoyable piece of entertainment.” – Newsday

Meanwhile, The Rock has been re-tweeting and commenting on positive fan reviews of the film, as seen below:

So nice getting these great reviews for SKYSCRAPER.
