Sadly for Roode, his answer is a man who is no longer alive, meaning his dream match will never take place, but he did have plenty of praise for him, as you can see below.

“If there was a dream match I could do, it would definitely be in a match against Curt Hennig,” said Roode during the interview. “I think growing watching him, I have hours and hours and hours of footage of ‘Mr. Perfect’ Curt Hennig and just studied his stuff for years.”

Chris Jericho Gives Advice To The Velveteen Dream

An old video from the last season of Tough Enough has resurfaced on social media this week in the build to NXT Takeover Chicago from when Patrick Clark (a.k.a The Velveteen Dream) was eliminated from the show.

On the video Chris Jericho, who was the show’s host, caught up with the Dream to tell him he didn’t agree with the decision and that he felt he had a long way to go, giving him the advice to continue on.

After getting voted out of Tough Enough on July 21st 2015, it seemed like a certain Dream was over..

Until @IAmJericho gave some of the best advice.
