WWE Extreme Rules Opening Match Sees Big Title Change (Photos & Videos)

Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas have had a whirlwind year, going from The Miz’s stooges to a brutal losing streak on Monday Night Raw. The duo found their mojo with a big victory in a tag team battle royal last month, and remained undefeated heading into tonight’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, where they successfully (and shockingly) defeated Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt to capture the Raw Tag Team Championships!

This is Curtis Axel’s third time winning a championship in his eight-year WWE career, as a former Intercontinental Champion and a previous run with the tag titles alongside David Otunga. For Bo Dallas, this is his first title since his reign as NXT Champion in 2014.
