Ricochet recently commented on his match against Adam Cole from the February 13 edition of NXT. Ric said that Cole is now at the back of the line for the NXT Championship.
Winning the match means Ricochet is now the No.1 Contender for the NXT title and it’s a championship that Ric may be destined to win. From the moment he debuted in NXT, Ricochet has been on top of his game. He’s proved that WWE made a wise investment with him and he’s brought a style that has truly endeared him to fans.
Next to Johnny Gargano, there may be no more deserving person to win the belt than Ricochet. He’s quickly become the hottest star on the brand and that’s no easy task, considering the depth of the roster.
But Ric is exactly what WWE was looking for and he’s fitting in better than anyone could have imagined. His title shot at NXT champion Tommaso Ciampa has not been announced but when it happens, there’s no doubt that Ricochet will entertain and leave the crowd breathless, as he always does.
