Saturday, February 8th saw the DC Defenders take down the Seattle Dragons 31-19. The game was watched by 3,302,000 viewers on ABC, while the LA Wildcats vs. Houston Roughnecks game was watched by 3,290,000 on FOX.
Sunday, February 9th saw the NY Guardians completely shut down the Tampa Bay Vipers on ABC, with a weekend high 3,385,000 viewers tuning in. Finally, the XFL debut on ESPN saw the St. Louis BattleHawks win a close game over the Dallas Renegades, with 2,495,000 viewers.
For reference, this week’s Monday Night Raw was watched by an average of 2,337,000 viewers on the USA Network. Last week’s Friday Night Smackdown was watched by 2,538,000 on FOX.
