The following are spoiler results of this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown, which was taped on Tuesday, March 25th at the TD Garden in Boston, and will air on Friday night, March 28th.
– This week’s SmackDown opens with Batista coming to the ring for a promo segment. He talks about how fans were begging him to come back and when he finally did, all they did was boo him. He knocks Daniel Bryan a bit and then some highlights are shown from Monday’s RAW. He continues to dog Bryan a bit more until Triple H makes his way out. Triple H tells Batista to leave his wife out of things. Batista tells Triple H that he wouldn’t have anything if he didn’t marry Stephanie McMahon. Triple H asks Batista why things are so personal. Batista talks about how Triple H has lost to him in every match they’ve competed in against each other. Triple H talks about how he made Batista into “The Animal,” but then he got soft and quit. He says we haven’t seen “The Animal” yet since he’s been back. Triple H closes the segment out by booking Batista in a singles match against Sheamus for later tonight.
– Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose def. 3MB in tag-team action in the first match of the evening. Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal represented 3MB in this one. After the match was over, Kane came out with The New Age Outlaws, all dressed in suits. Kane brings out Ryback and Curtis Axel and informs The Shield to stay in the ring, as they must face Ryback and Axel next.
– Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose def. Ryback & Curtis Axel in a tag-team match. After the match, Roman Reigns hits Ryback with a Superman punch and then Rollins and Ambrose feed Ryback to him for their trademark triple power bomb.
– Sin Cara def. Damien Sandow in a rematch from their singles bout on Monday’s RAW.
– Renee Young interviews Big Show. He spoke about how twisted The Wyatt Family is, however he feels that some of the stuff that they say weirdly makes sense somehow.
– Fandango def. Goldust in singles action. Cody Rhodes wasn’t out there for this one for whatever reason. The finish saw Summer Rae distract Goldust, leading to Fandango getting the victory.
– Sheamus def. Batista via Disqualification. The DQ came when Batista nailed Sheamus with a steel chair. After the match, Batista attacked Sheamus some more and hit him with his Batista-bomb. He then got on the microphone and asked Triple H if he’s happy now. He told everyone that at WrestleMania XXX he is going to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and tells us all to “deal with it.”
– Bray Wyatt cuts a promo about how everyone wears a mask. He says tonight he is going to slay a giant and then closes the segment out by taunting John Cena a bit.
– The Bella Twins def. AJ Lee & Tamina Snuka. Vickie Guerrero was out at ringside for commentary during this match. The finish saw Tamina shove AJ off the apron and tag her in. After the match was over, AJ looked at Tamina with a sad look on her face.
– Some footage is shown of Santino Marella and Emma out on a date together at a restaurant. Santino says they are friends with benefits, but Emma appears to be oblivious to what he’s saying. He tries to talk to her, but she just wants to have a staring contest. Emma mentions that they will always be best friends. Santino starts choking. Emma gives him some wine but he ends up spitting it all over her. He ends up leaning over and puking.
– Jack Swagger def. Jimmy Uso in a singles match. The finish saw Swagger force Uso to tap out to the Patriot Lock.
– Mark Henry def. The Miz in singles action. The finish saw Henry pin Miz after hitting him with his World’s Strongest Slam.
– Alexander Rusev and Lana come out to the stage and do their usual bit.
– Bray Wyatt def. Big Show in the main event of the evening. The finish saw Wyatt pin Big Show after hitting him with his Sister Abigail finisher. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper interfered a bunch throughout the match. The show ends with The Wyatt Family posing over Big Show.
