— The original plans for Sheamus, Cesaro and Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 34 was for them to work some sort of angle or non-wrestling segment since WWE did not want to commit to putting Strowman in a match, given some uncertainty surrounding the main event. This is why none of them had matches lined up.
— Over the weekend, it was decided that the Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar match was in no danger of being disrupted, which then prompted some creative changes where Strowman, Cesaro & Sheamus were booked into an actual match instead.
— As for whether it will be a handicap match or if Strowman will get a tag team partner, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has apparently not decided yet and if they have, only Vince McMahon likely knows and he isn’t telling very many people right now.
