— The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Vince McMahon’s idea of the recent NXT call-ups is that at this point, he wants the audience to simply “see their faces” on television so that when they eventually do debut in a proper fashion and in a storyline, fans will know who they are. As a result, the writers have had to devise segments with the idea to include the NXT wrestlers in the background, even though WWE generally has not decided how to use them or even what show they will be on (it has been stated that they can appear on both shows until they end up on a specific brand).
