Just days after it was announced that Alexa Bliss would no longer be able to compete in the Mixed Match Challenge due to an injury, WWE also confirmed that Sasha Banks is injured and will have to miss out on her tournament match with Bobby Lashley this during the show Tuesday. In an update provided by Cageside Seats, it was noted that Banks is not being advertised to appear on tonight’s episode of Raw, and she has also been removed from listings for all shows in the near future. The former Raw Women’s Champion also did not compete on the WWE live events shows this past weekend. Although Banks won’t be wrestling within the next few weeks, there is still no word on the exact details of her injury.
After having a breakout performance in his match against Adam Page at All In, Joey Janela went down with an injury as well during a match against Psicosis at a Game Changer Wrestling event earlier this week. Janela has just provided an update on his injury, noting that his knee is swollen but he is able to bend it ever so slightly. Joey also said that he has an MRI scheduled to take place this Tuesday and that he will provide an additional update after that. Joey injured his knee after landing awkwardly on a dive during his match. Joey Janela has been a rising star on the independent circuit in recent years. Be sure to stay tuned for the latest updates concerning the health, injury, and in-ring future of Joey Janela.
Update: my knee is pretty swollen, but the good news is I can slightly bend it, slightly turn it and put pressure on it and baby step walk on it.. I’m gonna schedule my MRI tomorrow so hopefully I can knock it out tuesday.. The video tells a different story but time will tell!

Raw Superstar Mike Kanellis has not had too much luck in the ring this year, as evidenced by the fact that he was eliminated in the 50-man Royal Rumble match within a matter of seconds, but he is certainly still a fighter. The WWE Superstar has publicly shared his story of overcoming his addiction to prescription drugs over the past few months and how he is still sober today. Kanellis posted a message on Twitter yesterday mentioning that he has been wrestling for about half of his life, but he also said that he feels like he is “just getting started” with his career. Now that Mike Kanellis has gotten his life back on track, hopefully he will be able to do the same on WWE programming within the next few weeks or so.
It’s crazy to think, that at 33 years old, I’ve literally dedicated half of my life to the professional wrestling industry. Yet in some weird way, I feel like I’m just getting started #processoveroutcome #wwe @wwe pic.twitter.com/cgqVbMF9Wz
