The 12th V league men´s finals finished at the Osaka city central gymnasium on March 17th. The Sakai Blazers performed well and won against Suntory Limited. Sakai won the V.leaguea after 8 seasons.
The finals were well balanced. In the first final match Sakai Blazers won after long battle 3-2 (15, 15, -23, -22, 24) winning the 11th match point of the match. The second final match was a copy of the first one, Sakai Blazers overplayed Suntory Limited 3-2 (-19, 17, 20, -22, 13). With the tournament on March 17th, the 12th V league ended all schedule.
The Chiba Shin player from the Sakai Blazers was chosen the MVP. Playing steady during all the season.
13th Vleague will start on September 24th nearly two months sooner than in a ordinary years, putting the break for the World Volleyball Championship in November.
