– 1980’s WWE and NWA star Butch Reed is currently in jail in Johnson County, Missouri after being arrested last month following a probation violation. Reed was advertised to wrestle this weekend in Arkansas for Traditional Championship Wrestling, but is still incarcerated. His mugshot picture and booking sheet can be found here.
– Chyna has two more adult movies coming out this year through Vivid Video, with her pro wrestling parody movie due out in September and her She-Hulk parody also expected this fall.
– Kofi Kingston defeated Heath Slater on the premiere episode of WWE Saturday Morning Slam this weekend. WWE’s rule of no strikes or holds to the head was quite apparent during the match. The show featured mostly backstage segments aimed at kids and several clips from WWE’s various Youtube shows. Santino Marella and Josh Matthews are the announce team for the show. Next week’s show will feature Brodus Clay vs. Curt Hawkins.
