On Monday, former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bayley returned in her hometown of San Jose, California, and she was added to the Women’s Title match at this coming Sunday’s No Mercy pay-per-view, making it a fatal five way match.
Following her return, Bayley gave an update on her shoulder injury, and she talked about being added to the Raw Women’s Title match at No Mercy.
In her first match on television since the hospitalization of her father, Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch, Naomi, and Tamina in a fatal four way match to determine the number one contender for the SD Live Women’s Championship at Hell in a Cell.
According to Cageside Seats, Charlotte will win the Women’s Title at Hell in a Cell, and she’ll also continue to be a babyface for the foreseeable future.
WWE Hell in a Cell takes place on October 8 at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
– Tonight’s WWE RAW will take place from the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California with the fallout from Sunday’s No Mercy pay-per-view. Here is tonight’s Raw preview:
What will happen when Reigns is the guest on a special “Miz TV” to kick off Raw? The Miz proposed a special “Miz TV” to Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, an exclusive interview that he would conduct with Reigns to ask hard-hitting questions concerning the black-clad Superstar’s epic match against Cena, recent buzz surrounding Reigns and his “old buddies” and more.
With a loss to Brock Lesnar, is Braun Strowman more dangerous than ever? Just in case the ground was shaking a little too much that the people couldn’t see the match clearly, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar survived the incredible challenge from Braun Strowman at WWE No Mercy. And as the dust cleared, two things were certain. First, the next time the WWE Universe sees Paul Heyman and his conquering client, The Advocate will not be at a loss for words. And second, Monday Night Raw had better get ready for the fallout from The Monster Among Men. If there is one thing more dangerous than a victorious Strowman, it’s one who has been bested.
What will be the fallout from chaotic Raw Woman’s Champion Fatal 5-Way Match? Yes, Alexa Bliss emerged victorious against the odds in an extremely turbulent Fatal 5-Way Raw Women’s Championship Match at WWE No Mercy, but how will the chaotic free-for-all transform the Women’s division moving forward? Can Alexa and Nia Jax just go back to being best friends? What about Bayley and Sasha Banks? Who came out of the fray in the best position to challenge the “Goddess of WWE” next? Moreover, the announcement that dominant former NXT Champion Asuka will make her main roster debut at WWE TLC will surely make for an even more unstable Women’s division.
How long is the Enzo Amore Era destined to last? At WWE No Mercy, Enzo Amore hit an illegal low blow to overcome Neville and capture the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. But how long will that era last? Fueled by a thirst for retribution, The King of the Cruiserweights will certainly be targeting the new titleholder.
Will Jason Jordan get another opportunity at the Intercontinental Champion? As the smoke cleared on the controversial matchup, a disappointed Jordan made no bones about the fact that he still doesn’t respect the crafty titleholder for his tactics and would indeed like another bout for the gold. But will he get it in the weeks to come? And if he does, will such a rematch cause friction with the locker room, especially with Jordan’s father being Raw General Manager Kurt Angle?
Members of the world famous Bullet Club appeared outside the arena that played host to WWE Monday Night Raw this week in Ontario, California. The crew included ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes and wife Brandi, the Young Bucks, “The Villain” Marty Scurll and the previously “missing” Hangman Page.
The team had a surprise appearance with Hot Topic at a local mall earlier in the day, and staged a Raw “Invasion” to film footage for their YouTube series Being The Elite.

The last time WWE was at MSG for a live event, AJ Styles became the new WWE United States Champion. So, perhaps WWE will shock us again with another title change at an MSG live event.
Dolph Ziggler has responded to fan criticism of his recent WWE TV gimmick, which has seen The Showoff come out dressed as different WWE stars from the past. Ziggler’s point in doing this is to prove that the superstars he’s mimicking were nothing more than a flashy entrance, and characters he’s dressed as have included The Undertaker and DX.
A fan on Twitter criticized Ziggler’s recent creative direction, and Ziggler responded with the following Tweet:
My fav part is, the MORE marks complain (online, obviously) in unison during my seg, it makes it MORE popular & they give me MORE time haha

As noted, WWE Raw star Jeff Hardy underwent surgery this week to repair a torn rotator cuff. The procedure will keep Hardy out of the ring anywhere from 6 to 9 months, making it likely he will miss WrestleMania 34.
According to PWInsider.com, Jeff Hardy will be undergoing a second surgery in the near future, to repair a torn labrum. The surgery is expected to take place sometime next week, and as of now it appears as if Hardy’s timetable for return will not be impacted by the second procedure, and he will likely remain under the 6 to 9 month return schedule.
Former WWE Star MVP, Montel Vontavious Porter, recently participated in an interview with The Roman Show and discussed a wide variety of wresting topics, check out the highlights below:
On New Japan having success in the states:
“You can’t go to a wrestling show without seeing a Bullet Club T-shirt. I am proud to say that when I quit WWE and went to Japan a lot of people didn’t know there was pro wrestling in Japan unless you were a hardcore wrestling fan.
“I remember tweeting from Japan taking pictures with Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson. I remember having a meeting with president Naoki Sugabayashi in 2011 and I pitched New Japan world back then cause there is a huge English speaking audience that wanted access to the product. I guess it was just matter of timing. New Japan is my personal favorite wrestling company, working there was my dream; it was my dream to wrestle in the Tokyo Dome. I am happy the WWE Universe is being exposed in my opinion to the best wrestling on the planet.”

On the current status of his former employer Impact Wrestling:
“I don’t know what to say about them. It’s constant mismanagement. Some of he greatest talent came from there, guys like Samoa Joe, A.J. Styles, Bobby Roode. You have all these guys that aren’t there anymore. TNA was must successful under Jeff Jarrett’s leadership under Dixie Carter it spiraled under.
“I was hoping Jeff Jarrett would raise it, but I don’t know it remains to be seen. Our industry needs TNA. I never understood fans that hoped TNA goes out of business. We need a strong solid company for guys to continue to work that can make money and do well. That’s just stupid to me. I don’t like orange soda, but I don’t wish Sunkist goes out of business. I just don’t drink it.”
The Smackdown Live brand has finally arrived at the doorsteps of Hell in a Cell, and your beloved Senior Editor and Creative Director is here to break down every single one of the matches and offer my predictions on the show! I’m pretty excited for all of my educated guesses to be completely wrong…
ProWrestling.com will of course have exclusive, up-to-the-minute live coverage of WWE Hell in a Cell TONIGHT starting with the Kickoff Show at 7:00PM EST. Join us all night long and discuss the event in our brand new comments section. In fact, while you’re here why not scroll down and leave your own predictions for the show?
The split of the Hype Bros has been telegraphed since Zack Ryder’s return from injury. If it doesn’t happen this week, even if they’re stuck in the inconsequential pre-show slot, we’re all doomed to sit through another month of television losses; neither the roster nor my attention is deep enough to withstand that.
From its inception the Hype Bros concept was just a vehicle to hide Mojo’s weaknesses while he improved. It’s an age-old strategy that’s worked for decades. Personally, I’m much more interested in the idea of a heel Zack Ryder. There’s a whole lot of real-life frustration and animosity that could be harnessed into a great character with a ton of momentum, if handled properly. And let’s face it – Mojo was a villain sounds terrible.
Benjamin and Gable should, and likely will get the win on the Kickoff show. I’m not sure what they’re long-term plan is for them, but it’s unlikely either would be utilized well in the crowded singles scene right now. With the New Day/Usos program seemingly coming to an end tonight, the World’s Gablest Tag Team is virtually the only option next in line unless we see an NXT call-up on Smackdown.
Who SHOULD Win: Gable & Benjamin Who WILL Win: Gable & Benjamin
