NWA’s official Instagram account tweeted a photo of legends from the promotion including Ric Flair. Take a closer look to the right of Flair, and the image seems to be cropped. Who could have been removed from the image?

As noted, WWE star Sin Cara underwent knee surgery earlier this week to have scar tissue removed. While no timetable for Cara’s return has been released by WWE, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports the average return time for the type of procedure Cara had is one to three months.
Former Impact Star No Longer Headed to WWE?
We noted several weeks ago that top Luchadors Gara, Jr and Ultimo Ninja were headed to WWE, and while Ninja is reportedly already in Orlando, Garza, Jr might not be headed to WWE due to an existing shoulder injury. The report adds Garza is worried the WWE deal might fall through due to the injury, and the belief as of a week ago is that he is likely not headed to WWE. Garza will be out of action for the next four to six months but is currently looking for bookings when is ready to return.

We reported last week that the injury sustained by Tegan Nox during the Mae Young Classic taping came at a terrible time for Nox, who was just coming off a previous injury which kept her out of the ring for a lengthy amount of time, as WWE had big plans for Nox in the Mae Young Classic.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, not only were there plans in place for Nox to be part of the finals in the tournament, but there was serious talk of Nox winning this year’s Classic. As a result of Nox’s injury, the finals will now consist of Io Shirai vs Toni Storm, and that match will take place at WWE Evolution.
In related news, WWE will be holding another round of NXT UK TV tapings this weekend, and advertised for the tapings is the crowning of the first-ever NXT UK Women’s Champion, after a two-day tournament. The Observer reports that the likely winner of the tournament this weekend is Toni Storm, and if Storm does indeed win the NXT UK Women’s Title, then the likelihood of Io Shirai winning the Mae Young Classic drastically increases, as WWE likely won’t have Storm winning both the Title and the Classic. If Shirai does win this year’s Classic The Observer reports the decision will be very different from what WWE had originally planned.

After a considerable amount of time away from the ring, both Nikki and Brie Bella returned to the ring this Sunday night for a WWE Live event in Rochester, New York. The twins partnered with Ember Moon for the first time ever, defeating all three members of The Riott Squad in their return bout.
Outside of the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble match, this was Brie’s first time in the ring since quietly retiring at WrestleMania 32. Nikki, however, worked a mixed tag team match alongside John Cena earlier this year at Madison Square Garden. Interestingly, this was the first time since October 2015 that the Bellas wrestled a match on the same team.
Both ladies are preparing to make short-term comebacks, as Brie will be teaming with husband Daniel Bryan to take on The Miz and Maryse at WWE Hell in a Cell, while Nikki is rumored for a huge, high-profile bout against Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at the upcoming all-women’s pay-per-view event WWE Evolution.
