What You Didn't See At Night Of Champions (Dark Match, Live Notes)

The following news items are compiled from several live reports sent in from fans who were at last night’s Night of Champions pay-per-view:

— The arena was not sold out. There were open seats in the upper deck but also on the floor.

— Cryme Tyme defeated The Hart Dynasty in a dark match that took place prior to Night of Champions going live on pay-per-view.

— There were problems with the WWE.com webcast of Night of Champions. Several readers wrote in saying the feed went down and they missed the opening match.

— The ring canvas was changed twice during the event.

— The crowd was pretty loud all night. Marsye vs. Mickie James got a weak reaction because the crowd was burnt out from the the triple threat WWE title match that proceeded it. Fans were also getting impatient towards the end of the Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler match.

— C.M. Punk and Jeff Hardy shook hands after their match as the PPV broadcast was ending. After the show went off the air, Jeff Hardy ran around ringside and gave high fives to the crowd. He found a young kid who was dressed up like him and brought the kid into the ring. He danced with the kid and put the World Heavyweight title belt on the kid’s shoulder. Jeff helped the kid back to his seat and made his way up the ramp, where he celebrated again.
