Sienna Hospitalized During Tapings, Redemption Location, Twitch

During the recent television tapings in Florida for Impact Wrestling, it was revealed that Eddie Edwards suffered an injury that required him to be transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, he was not the only member of the Impact roster to receive an injury during the recent tapings. It has been revealed that Sienna was hospitalized. The Impact star took to Twitter to confirm that she was indeed rushed to the hospital, and it was later discovered that she has a blood clot in each of her lungs. There is currently no word on how long she will be out of action for, but Sienna has declared that she will still be active in the business in some other way in the meantime.

I went to the hospital during tapings suspecting a displaced rib or collapsed lung.
Turns out I have a blood clot in each lung.
I won’t be wrestling right now, but I’m still making appearances, raising money for the Undie Run… & judging everyone in this hospital. #PinkiesUp pic.twitter.com/mDNkjfg2t0

Impact Wrestling recently announced that they will be returning to pay-per-view very soon. It was thought that the company would be bringing back the former Lockdown event that they used to put on each year, but the promotion has instead decided to create a new concept altogether called Redemption. Even though it was originally believed that the show would be taking place in Toronto, that may not be the case after all. PWInsider has stated that the plan is still to run the event from Toronto, but Impact is also prepared to host the show in the Impact Zone in Orlando just in case something goes wrong with their deal. The event is still expected to air on April 22nd.

It was revealed yesterday that Impact Wrestling will be partnering up with Twitch to create their very own channel dedicated to streaming Impact Wrestling clips 24/7. In addition to new and classic footage of the promotion from over the years, fans have also been promised access to several other shows, such as Live Audio Wrestling. As promised, the company officially launched their new channel on the service earlier today with their first pay-per-view from 2002. Impact and Twitch will be working as partners going forward.
