A noter que Robert Duvall, présent sur ce visuel, avait également été son partenaire sur Jours de tonnerre de Tony Scott. Sortie attendue chez nous le 26 décembre.

En vacances de fin d’année, la –toujours- Reine de la Pop s’adonne aux joies de la glisse dans la poudreuse helvète de Gstaad. Une grande nouveauté pour Madonna, qui prend les toutes premières leçons de ski de sa vie.
Pour sa retraite de Reine de la Pop, Madonna a décidé de passer à un stade différent de son règne, celui de Reine de la glisse. La star aux 300 millions de disques vendus dans le monde apprend à skier à 53 ans, comme quoi, elle n’a peur de rien. Pour Noël cette année, la superstar a donc décidé de s’offrir des vacances à la neige avec ses enfants, Lourdes et David, dans la station suisse de Gstaad -oui, la même que Johnny. C’est le journal allemand Blick qui nous rapporte cet événement hautement glacé. Prête à tout pour décrocher sa première étoile, la madone a donc troqué ses tenues mode –quoiqu’un peu ringardes- pour la combi de ski pas super sexy -mais tellement plus confort.
Logée par son ami le couturier Valentino, qui possède un chalet sur place, Madonna –qui prépare la sortie de son nouvel album en 2012– semble ravie d’apprendre à faire le chasse-neige à cinquante ans passés. «La neige, la météo et l’ambiance, rien ne pouvait être mieux», a-t-elle déclaré, visiblement emballée par ses cours niveau débutant. A 53 ans, elle ose encore tout, et n’a pas peur des gamelles de l’apprentissage. L’histoire ne dit pas si elle apprend sur des patinettes…
Click:wps下载 Le festival d’Angoulême s’est terminé dimanche avec l’annonce du palmarès. Et c’est le discret Jean-Claude Denis qui reçoit le Grand Prix, des mains d’Art Spiegelman. A ce titre, il sera le président de la prochaine édition de cet incontournable rendez-vous.
De l’avis unanime de tous les participants et de tous les visiteurs, le festival d’Angoulème est entré cette année dans une nouvelle dimension. Une évolution due en partie à la présence du génial Art Spiegelman président cette année et qui arrive à point nommé, un an avant la célébration du 40e anniversaire de ce rendez-vous désormais incontournable dans le monde de la bande-dessinée.
L’an prochain, c’est Jean-Claude Denis qui accompagnera le passage du festival dans sa cinquième décennie. Il sera en effet le président de l’événement puisqu’il a remporté cette année le Grand Prix de la ville d’Angoulême. L’auteur, très discret, d’œuvres comme Luc Leroi remonte la pente, Quelques mois à l’Amélie et La beauté à domicile dans l’excellente collection Aire Libre de Dupuis, Bonbon piment ou Tous à Matha, le dernier en date paru chez Futuropolis, Jean-Claude Denis, 61 ans, s’est taillé une belle réputation dans le milieu. Les amateurs de BD verront donc dans un an quel héritage il souhaite transmettre.
Le reste du palmarès de ce 39e festival d’Angoulême a récompensé Chroniques de Jérusalem de Guy Delisle, meilleur album 2012, Frank et le congrès des bêtes de Jim Woodring, prix spécial du jury, Teddy Beat de Morgan Navarro, prix de l’audace, ou encore La dynastie de Donald Duck de Carl Barks, prix du patrimoine.
Rendez-vous est pris donc l’an prochain, pour le 40e anniversaire du Festival de la bande-dessinée. Angoulême se prépare déjà et d’ici là ne risque pas de coincer la bulle.
Elles étaient vingt-cinq au total sur une période qui s’étend de 1967 à sa mort, en 1978. Si certaines n’ont fait que passer, au gré des remplacements de dernière minute, d’autres ont suivi Claude François pendant de nombreuses années. Toutes les Clodettes gardent un souvenir ému de cette période de leur vie. Chaque jour, jusqu’à la sortie en salles du film Cloclo, le 14 mars prochain, Gala vous propose de découvrir les confidences des danseuses de l’artiste.
“Claude était un homme très fort et très fragile à la fois. Juste avant les galas, il était très tendu. Tout devait être prévu, il n’y avait pas de place à l’improvisation. Même s’il arrivait toujours en retard aux répétitions. Les danseuses n’avaient pas le droit de boire, ni de fumer. Nous n’avions pas le droit de sortir en ville avant le spectacle et si on sortait en discothèque après le gala, on devait se tenir: c’était son image qui était en jeu. Lui non plus de prenait aucune drogue. Tout juste avait il une bouteille de Chivas douze ans d’âge dans sa loge pour ses invités. Mais n’allez pas croire qu’on était des esclaves!
Entre nous, nous l’appelions «le coq». Parce qu’après les spectacles, on faisait un debriefing sur scène, lui, en peignoir rouge ou noir, devant nous, qui marchait, bondissait, énervé, de long en large, avec ses petites jambes! On se pinçait pour ne pas rire. Il savait très bien qu’on le surnommait ainsi. Pendant le spectacle, on se donnait tous à fond, c’était un moment d’explosion pour lui comme pour nous. On sortait rincés de la scène. Un soir, en sortant du chapiteau de notre spectacle, je me souviens avoir trouvé Claude assis sur les marches d’un escalier, pleurant toutes les larmes de son corps. Pas des larmes de chagrin, non, c’était plutôt l’épuisement, le relâchement qui l’avait brisé. Je lui ai demandé pour quelle raison il pleurait. Mais il n’était pas en mesure de répondre. Alors je l’ai pris dans mes bras et puis d’autres personnes sont venues. C’était ça, Claude. Beaucoup de passion. Et de générosité. Presque tous les soirs après les galas, il invitait la troupe au restaurant et on faisait la fête ensemble. Je crois que nous avons toutes eu un cadeau un jour de Claude : l’alliance Cartier, faite de trois anneaux… S’il était encore là, il se battrait avec nous pour que la Spedidam reconnaisse nos droits.”

Referendums in Switzerland and legislative changes in the EU make for a fragile co-operation.
Switzerland’s relationship with the European Union is sometimes described as an example of integration without membership. On the economic side, the integration is evident from the numbers: the EU accounts for most of Switzerland’s trade. But if integration implies cohesion, it is hard to apply the word to Switzerland’s institutional ties with the EU.
Over time, what has emerged is not a consolidated system, but an ad hoc arrangement built on layers of different agreements. One of the lower layers was laid in 1960, when Switzerland joined the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). Another was added in 1972, when Switzerland struck a free-trade agreement with the EU that remains in place. In 1992, voters scuppered the government’s bid to join the European Economic Area (EEA), which gave other members of EFTA – Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein – the same access to the European market as EU member states but without the decision-making power.
Since then, Switzerland has sought, in effect, to create the equivalent of EEA membership through bilateral agreements. It agreed one set of bilateral agreements in 1999 and another in 2004. Ostensibly, the 1999 package has seven subsidiary agreements, with nine in the 2004 package. Overall, though, the packages contain a total of more than 100 agreements.
This edifice is fragile. If Switzerland cancels one agreement, it cancels all agreements in that package. While this ‘guillotine clause’ might seem to create a strong incentive for Switzerland not to pull out, the frequency of referendums in Switzerland increases the chances of the guillotine falling.
There are other problems. One is more theoretical than real: the content of Swiss-EU agreements has not evolved very differently from EEA agreements. The bigger issue is that in many of the areas covered by Switzerland’s bilateral agreements, the EU’s legislation changes often, requiring frequent amendments to the agreements, a process that absorbs a great deal of parliamentary time in Switzerland and institutional time in the EU. In particular, the EU’s waves of enlargement have repeatedly forced Switzerland to re-visit its labour and travel rules, ensuring persistent controversies.
Perhaps last weekend’s announcement by Christoph Blocher – the man most responsible for the
‘No’ votes to Swiss membership of the EEA and of the EU in 1992 – that he will be leaving Switzerland’s “bureaucratic” parliament will make it easier for Switzerland to join Norway in the EEA one day.
But, for the foreseeable future, the EU is likely to have to console itself that at least this most tailor-made of relationships is very valuable: Switzerland is the EU’s fourth-largest trading partner, behind the United States, China and Russia.

EU panel rejects bid to stop Monsanto weedkiller
Sales of the herbicide, which is contained in 750 products, must stop in December if not given re-authorization.
A key committee in the European Parliament rejected a proposal Tuesday to halt an extension in the use of the world’s most popular weedkiller.
The Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety voted against the objection raised by ENVI Rapporteur Kateřina Konečná, a member of the Nordic Green Left faction, who tried to block extension of glyphosate. The herbicide created by Monsanto is best known by the brand name Roundup.
The motion was rejected with 25 votes in favor, 32 against, 10 abstentions.
Sales of the herbicide, which is contained in 750 products, must stop in December if not given re-authorization. The Commission proposes to extend marketing to June of next year.
Environmental groups often cite a report by the World Health Organization that suggests links to cancer. That 2015 report by the WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer found “sufficient evidence in animals” to indicate glyphosate is “probably carcinogenic to humans.”
The European Crop Protection Association supports the herbicide, saying the report contradicted “the world’s most robust and stringent regulatory systems — namely the European Union and the United States — in which crop protection products have undergone extensive reviews based on multi-year testing” and were not found to pose a cancer risk to humans.
Konečná railed against her colleagues for not backing her measure.
“I am really sad that this objection wasn’t approved. I have to say that this is a huge hypocrisy from the ENVI committee members,” she said.
Earlier, the Commission told the panel that there is a big chance that a report on the issue by the EU’s food safety agency will be delayed, which Konečná called outrageous.
“This is unacceptable hazard with a health of the EU’s citizens,” Konečná said.
A Commission spokesman defended the policy.
“Extending the approval period by six months will give EFSA [the European Food Safety Agency] time to finalize its scientific conclusions on glyphosate,” Enrico Brivio said in a statement.
“On the renewal of the authorization, the Commission, in consultation with Member States, will take appropriate risk management action following the publication of the EFSA opinion,” he added.
While widespread in use, glyphosate-based products face scrutiny from environmental groups, who argue it may be harmful to humans. Advocates want further testing, citing studies suggesting an increase of cases of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in those exposed to it. Some other studies have suggested a link to human and animal cells being damaged in vitro, which can also lead to cancer.
First created in 1969 by agribusiness giant Monsanto, which held the U.S. patent until 2000, glyphosate-based herbicides are now produced by many other companies across the world. Monsanto’s Roundup brand is still a large part of the market with, $5 billion worth sold in 2014 alongside their “Roundup Ready” genetically modified seeds in the U.S.
The company defends the product, with Philip Miller, Vice President Global Regulatory Affairs, saying the WHO review “does not meet the standards used by respected agencies around the world,” referring to the United States and preliminary EU reports.
He also said it conflicts with a study by the German government, the current rapporteur member state for glyphosate. That report recommends reauthorization of the chemical in Europe.
Greenpeace EU food policy director Franziska Achterberg said it was typical of Monsanto to dismiss studies linking the chemical to cancer and chastised the EU approach.
“Given the uncertainty about the effects of glyphosate, the EU should carry out an in-depth and independent scientific risk assessment,” she said. “Unfortunately, EU safety testing relies heavily on unpublished industry data. This is unacceptable and has to change if Europeans are to have any trust in the EU’s safety standards.”
Monsanto’s genetically modified seeds survive the brands own herbicides, allowing farmers to widely spread the Roundup herbicide on a field without damaging the GM “cash crops” they wish to grow.
Ferrari has postponed an 18-inch Pirelli tyre test scheduled to take place at Fiorano this week, invoking travel restrictions due the coronavirus outbreak.
The Scuderia was set to sample Pirelli’s 2021-spec wet tyre at its track on Thursday, running a mule car as part of the Italian supplier’s development program for next season.
Vietnam quarantine puts Ferrari and AlphaTauri in a fix!
“Because of company restriction policies adopted by Scuderia Ferrari and Pirelli following the worldwide Coronavirus outbreak, the scheduled 18-inch 2021 wet tyre test at Fiorano on March 5 has to be postponed,” Ferrari stated in a post on social media.
“The test will be rescheduled at Fiorano at the earliest opportunity.”
With each passing day, another roadblock appears in F1’s path. On Tuesday, Vietnam and Bahrain announced travel and entry restrictions for individuals originating from a list of countries that includes Italy, China, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Egypt, Lebanon and Thailand.
For now the Australian and Vietnam Grands Prix are still on, although the latter is turning into a logistics nightmare for teams and personnel, especially those residing in Italy.
Bahrain Grand Prix organisers are actively working with F1 and the FIA to implement special measures that could facilitate access to the country during the race week for teams’ personnel, F1 administrators, broadcast and media.

A change in the leadership of the Labour party, the junior partner in the coalition, will trigger wider changes to ministerial responsibilities.
Enda Kenny, Ireland’s prime minister, will next week reshuffle his government following the election of a new leader of the Labour Party, the junior partner in the government coalition. Tomorrow (4 July), the membership of the centre-left Labour Party is to vote on who should take over from Eamon Gilmore, who resigned in the wake of disappointing local and European election results.
They will choose between Joan Burton, the current minister for social protection, and Alex White, minister of state at the department of health, with Burton strongly tipped to win.
Gilmore will then step down from his government position as foreign affairs and trade minister. He is now being talked about as a possible candidate to join the European Commission, succeeding Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, who has been Ireland’s European commissioner since 2010. However, it is more likely that Kenny’s centre-right Fine Gael party will insist on nominating the European commissioner. The last European commissioner to come from Fine Gael was Peter Sutherland, nominated in 1985. Since then all the commissioners have been from Fianna Fáil, the dominant political party in the post-1945 era.
The leading Fine Gael contender for the Commission is Phil Hogan, currently the environment minister. Kenny is expected to make a choice of commissioner part of his reshuffle, which will be agreed with the new Labour leader. Otherwise he will try to keep changes to a minimum, swapping ministerial responsibilities rather than appointing new ministers.
Among the Labour ministers, Leo Varadkar, the current transport minister, is expected to take over from Fine Gael’s James Reilly, the health minister. Alex White, minister for primary care, and Alan Kelly, minister for public and commuter transport, are likely to change places.
In the Fine Gael ranks it is likely that arts minister Jimmy Deenihan will be replaced. Rumours are that Paschal Donohoe, minister for European affairs, and Regina Doherty, member of the lower house, will be candidates to take up vacant posts.
The next general elections are not scheduled until April 2016.
